A 3-year PhD studentship (reserved to British and European citizens, only, following founder guidelines) is open in the group of Cardiolinc Board Member Prof Costanza Emanueli at the Imperial College London. The studentship is fully funded by Diabetes UK, for 3 years. The PhD project will involve exploring the role of RNA modifications in endothelial cells (ECs) in the context of type-2 diabetes mellitus (DM).

The winning candidate will hold an undergraduate biomedical degree at first or at least upper-second level and preferably from a top-class UK or European University and a Master degree. Ideally, the candidate will have a background in molecular and cellular biology.

The call will be soon open via the Imperial College London system, but feel free to submit a preliminary expression of interest.
