Open positions at the Luxembourg Institute of Health

Dr Yvan Devaux, Head of the Cardiovascular Research Unit at the Luxembourg Institute of Health and President of Cardiolinc is looking to recruit a PhD Student in cardiovascular research and a Laboratory Technician.

The PhD project aims to identify novel RNA biomarkers that can be used to predict neurological outcome and survival after cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest is a main health issue affecting 400,000 persons per year in Europe and 400 in Luxembourg.

The purpose of the Laboratory Technician position is to perform experiments as a technician on a specific project and carry out broader tasks, suggest or take initiatives to resolve or prevent technical problems in consultation with the project leader and enhance teamwork, and run a team of junior technicians (if applicable) in cooperation with the project leader.
